When I'm out walking and photographing I like to keep my kit to a minimum. For the most part I will keep this to two lenses. Looking back through some images from 2006 recently I noticed that this kit used to consist of a Canon 5D, with battery grip of course, 16-35 F2.8 zoom and 28-300 zoom. As you can imagine, a nice lightweight travel kit!
Yesterdays kit was a little different. Olympus E-P2, Panasonic 7-14 zoom and Panasonic Leica 45mm f2.8 macro.
I know which I prefer!
