I've been known to say some unkind words about Canon, but this is little short of extraordinary.
Just announced this afternoon, this camera has an almost unbelievable spec for both stills and video. It seems that its like a 7D in a cheaper body.
Full HD, 25fps, mike socket, 30 mins recording. I had a look at the samples at 3200 & 6400 - absolutely incredible.
I moaned about the plastic feel of the 500D but with this spec. at this price, at this weight and size, I wouldn't care what it was made of. Ordered mine 10 minutes ago!!
