Leica Subtlety

One of the great things about the Leica M9 and high quality M-Mount lenses is the ability to register subtle changes in colour. As well as great sharpness, and lovely bokeh these images taken with a Zeiss 50mm f2 planar demonstrate to me the ability of this camera/lens combination to capture both the richness of colour and the subtle changes in that colour. 


Since I'm waiting here day after day as my part of the UK sits under leaden grey skies, unable to go and do some serious shooting, I pop out into the garden occasionally to take some pictures. Considering the flatness of the light I was very impressed by these results and they made me even more impatient for the weather to change.
